Press N after any creatable section (also suppliers, products, campaigns) to open its new form. Shortcuts are ignored while typing in inputs. Press Esc to close this dialog or clear a pending chord.

Profile pictures

Avatars everywhere

You and your contacts can have a profile picture that appears next to your name across BeagleCRM. Where no picture is set, BeagleCRM shows tidy coloured initials instead, so people are always recognisable — a photo is entirely optional.

Your own picture

Open Account settings and use the Profile picture panel to choose a photo. Only you can change your own picture, and it updates in the navigation bar straight away.

A contact's picture

Team members with contact permissions can set a picture for a contact from the contact edit panel (see Adding contacts). It appears wherever that contact is shown.

Portal guests

Customers invited to the portal can set their own picture from their portal profile page. Read-only preview sessions cannot make changes.

Accepted images

Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 512KB. BeagleCRM automatically crops and resizes it to a 256×256 square and removes hidden photo metadata (such as camera and GPS location) before storing it, so nothing private travels with the image.

Replace or remove

Choosing a new photo replaces the current one. Use Remove to delete the picture entirely and fall back to initials. If a file is the wrong type or too large, you'll see a short message and nothing is saved.

Privacy & erasure

A contact's picture is cleared automatically when their personal data is erased under GDPR (see Adding contacts). Pictures are stored privately and only ever shown to people who can already see that person.
